White Settlers:
Before the White settlers the Apache people lived in the range of Southeastern Arizona, Southwestern New Mexico, and Northern Mexico, and were migratory. They moved with the seasons for their hunting and farming. They also traded with other tribes. The Apaches were peaceful up until the Apache Wars. This was around the time of the Gold Rush and many white men wanted to stay and farm on their land. They did not have a good relationship with the white Americans. They came and invaded the Apaches land during the gold rush, killed many of their people and accused Cochise of kidnapping, this was the start of the Apache war. There were many fights and wars. In the end they took their land and relocated them to a reservation along Apache Pass.
U.S. Government:
The U.S. Government relocated the Apache Indians. He forced them to leave their homes and put them on reservations. Cochise was later able to negotiate with the army to have his people moved to a different reservation because of conflict in Arizona.
Other Native Americans:
I couldn't find much information for this but they had either good contact or conflicts with the Navajo, Hohokam, Ancestral Pueblo (Anasazi), and the Hopi.
